Premiere Pro test

Monday 3rd October 2016

Using Adobe Premier Pro we had a 'test' to see which level we was at basic or more advanced; we had to edit clips and audio of a guy in a library/book shop.
I have seen the software before but other than once having a play around with it pressing buttons here and there I haven't really used Adobe Premier Pro only iMovie.

When editing these clips I knew what I wanted to do with them and would be able to do it on iMovie but with Adobe I just couldn't find how to do it. I did manage to add a title, speed up a scene, cut audio and place it. There is a moment or two where I wanted the audio to fade but again I couldn't figure this out and so it ends up being silent and then jumping to the next bit.

After the session, I was sent a youtube tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hls3Tp7JS8E&feature=youtu.be on how to use Adobe and it was really useful and I will practice using the software in my own time to get more of a feel with it and be more comfortable using it.
