Working in groups of 3 we had to choose one location and two characters out of a box. With these we then had to create a short 'meeting' story and had to think about the following:
We drew an abandoned church, a retired naval officer and a serial dater from the box and this is what we came up with.
Rehabilitated Love
JAMES has planned a romantic date for SARAH at the now abandoned church they had married at as SARAH has been acting off recently. Shocked at the gesture, SARAH confesses to JAMES that she has been cheating on him for several years and is now pregnant with someone else baby. JAMES is heartbroken and leaves and SARAH chases after him which ends with a heated argument. JAMES ignores SARAH and decides to go live with a friend for a few days. JAMES receives a text that SARAH is in hospital and JAMES rushes to SARAH's side but it turns out to be a false alarm. SARAH realises what she has got and apologises for all what she has done and promises not to cheat anymore. JAMES forgives SARAH and agrees to stay and raise the baby with her.
Goal - To work out why SARAH has been acting weird.
Conflict - SARAH has been cheating and is now pregnant with another mans baby.
Change - SARAH seeing her errors is going to stop the cheating and raise the baby with JAMES.
Opening Dialogue: 'I'll pick you up at 8:00, I have a surprise for you'
